Chapter 7: PART-TIME JOB

"Base on Philippine history, Mt. Tataalwan was the first name of Taal Volcano and the first eruption is between 15th and 16th Century." Sarah explained.
"You mean we are really really old grannies!? I can't bear to think about it! Plus the effect of the sealing ritual did not wear off!" Peach complained.
"Stop complaining Peach. Basically, we are still teenagers at this time and we still look normal, so don't worry! What's more important right now is how we can pay for our rent!" Joy said.
"That is why we are looking for part-time jobs. But we already applied for 10 companies..." Sarah said.
"And we still have no luck!" Joy added. "Maybe because my beauty is for modeling or acting! I should try to call for some famous producers!" Peach said. They have no classes today so the triplets used this opportunity to find part-time jobs.


*Ring Ring*
Peach's phone rings and she answered it.
"Hi, Hon!... I'm with my sisters looking for part-time jobs... Bored?... A DATE?... OK! Just text me where we meet! Bye Lo... Eh! He ended the call!" Then Peach said goodbye to her sisters.
"Sorry Big Sisters! Boyfie calls... See you later!" Then she left them.
"I - I think its better if we apply in separate companies." Sarah suggested.
"O - OK! Let's just meet later then." Joy agreed.


Joy applied in every company or establishments she passed by but no one is interested to hire her.
"Always wait for their call or text and some frankly say that they don't need partimers... I didn't think that looking for a job is this hard!" Joy said to herself.


Meanwhile.....

Sarah is at the department store watching Kira arrange products at the stands. But she saw big canned milk that was about to fall on Kira's head. She used her levitation power to stop it from falling and bring it back safely at the stand. She makes sure that no one saw her used her power and she controlled it properly.
"Miss! What are you doing there?" A guard approached Sarah.
"Na - Nothing Sir! A - I - I just want to talk to my friend." Sarah said.
Sarah didn't notice that Kira is already at her back.
"Its OK Manong Guard! She is my friend." Kira said.
"Kira!?" Sarah.
"I will have my break in a few minutes. Can you wait for me at the back?" Kira said to Sarah.
"Y - Yes Kira!" Sarah replied. She waited for Kira and after 10 minutes he came out of the back door.

Kira is currently the Best Friend of Joy. He is hardworking, cause he is the only one who supports his younger siblings. After work, he will become cold in talking to other people aside for Joy.

"Joy texted me about it and she also asked me if I want to join in your job hunting." Kira said.
"But you already have a job and that is also the reason why I want to talk to you, to ask you if they have vacancies here." Sarah.
"Next week they will start hiring again because many will finish their contracts and that includes me." Kira said. Sarah didn't want to apply there anymore if Kira is not there too.

At the park.....
Peach waited for 2 hours at the park before she receives a text from his boyfriend.
"I'm sorry Hon. We have a family emergency and I can't go there anymore." Her boyfriend's text.
"What the! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO THIS TO ME!!!" Peach shouted.
Then all people in the park looked at her. She apologized then walked away.
Peach just go anywhere, when suddenly she heard Khay's voice.
"Bro's I really don't have money left in my pocket. Let me go home and I will bring some! He-he!" Khay said.
"You can't trick us! If you don't have money then will just take your motorbike!" Thief 1 said.
"That's right! Give us the key!" Thief 2.
"Khay is in trouble! I need to help him!" Peach whispered to herself, she put on her Jacket and cover her mouth with a big handkerchief before she appeared to the scene.
"LET HIM GO FREAKS!!!" Peach said in a different voice. But the thieves just laugh at her.
"What are you? Another thief??" Thief 1.
"Then just join us and we will have fun later!" Thief 2 said then he winked at Peach.
"You leave me no choice then!" Peach said before she started attacking the thieves.
Peach used her super speed and run around the thieves until they got dizzy. She gave them kicks and punches before she holds both heads of the thieves and bangs it with each other.
*BAAAANG*
"OUCH THAT HURTS!" Thief1. "BRO! LETS RUN!!!" Thief 2.
Then they run as fast as they could.
"SCARDY CATS!!! DONT EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN! HAHAHA!" Khay shouted at the thieves. While Peach quietly hides herself to Khay before he sees who she is.
"Eh? Where did my Super Girl go?? I need to thank her!" Khay said?




At the City end.....
"I think it's not a good idea to look for a job here. It is already 3 rides away from home." Joy said to herself. She was about to go back when she saw an old lady that is trying to lift heavy boxes.
"Let me carry them... Ahm!?" She said offering her help.
"Just call me Nanay Mercy, and thank you so much for your kind offer!" Nanay Mercy said. Joy lifted three heavy boxes at once and she forgot that her powers are back so the boxes flew up in the air. Luckily the old lady is going to the other side of the road so she didn't see what happened. But the owner of the house where they are going now did saw it.
"May I ask what are you doing at the end of the city?" Nanay Mercy asked.
"I - I was looking for a part-time job." Joy replied while pretending that the boxes that she carry are heavy.
