Chapter 13: THE NECKLACE


"Ate Sarah! Wait for me!!!... Do we really need to look at the dark places like this?" Asked Ian. They are now in the city looking for Peach and Laksurya.
"Ate Joy said we need to find the bottom half of the manananggal, if it's already looking for victims its legs should be hiding somewhere that no one will notice." Sarah explained.
"Why Ian, are you scared???" Roe said teasing Ian.
"OF COURSE NOT! I - I'm not Af..... WAAAAAH!!!" Ian.
A cat jumped in front of Ian that made him startled and fell down on some trash bins.
"Ahaha! It's just a cat!" Roe laughed at Ian. "Ian look! Beside you!!!" Sarah said.


Meanwhile.....
Laksurya is about to bite her victim when Peach attacked her with the wind arrow.
But the arrow was just blocked by Laksurya using her wings as a shield.
"WHO ARE YOU!!!" Laksurya said angrily. Peach already transformed as the Wind Guardian.
"I am the Wind Guardian! And I will punish you for the sake of all your victims!" Peach said. The man was so afraid and he ran as fast as he could.
"THEY DESERVE IT! They are all cheater and perverts! They give me more power! AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!! WAHAHA!" Laksurya laughed.
Peach let out another stronger wind arrow but Laksurya dodged it and quickly flew and attacked Peach with her long sharp claws. But it doesn't hit her cause the Masked Boy suddenly appeared and fight Laksurya.
"Where are your sisters?" asked the Masked Boy.
"I came here alone! I want to defeat her by myself!" Peach after she gets up.
They are now both fighting Laksurya.
"Don't be foolish! Many of our warriors died fighting her, and even in Guardian form your powers are still not enough to defeat her!" The Masked Boy said.
The seconds that they lost their attention to their opponent, Laksurya used her wing to smash them and they went inside the club through the broken wall where they hit.


Joy easily found Peach using the locating spell from the Libreta that her mother thought her, and she saw what happened to Peach and the Masked Boy.
"Hello, Sarah! Did you find Laksurya's legs?" Joy asked Sarah on a phone call.
"Yes, Ate! We already tied it up. What should we do with it?" Sarah replied.
"A-are these internal organs?? SO GROSS! YAK!!!... (Ian is pocking the moving or breathing intestines with a long stick then the legs suddenly kicked him) OUCH! Ate Sarah the legs kicked me on the face!!!" Ian complained while Roe is laughing at him.
"Do you have the garlic, salt, and the holy water that I asked you to bring?" Joy asked Sarah while ignoring Ian in the background.
"Yes, Ate Joy!" Sarah. While Sara is talking to Joy on the phone, Laksurya's legs break through the ropes and started running away. "IT'S RUNNING AWAY!... Ian use your power!" Roe said, then Ian opened a portal where the legs are going then another portal appeared in front of Sarah.
Sarah put the salt and garlic on Laksurya's opened torso once it appeared on the second portal.
It stops moving and became paralyzed then she sprayed the holy water on it.
Every drop is burning it that made the smoke to come out.


At the club…..
Laksurya was about to attack Peach and the Masked Boy when she suddenly feels so much pain.
"AAAAAHHH!!! SO PAINFUL!!!... Someone is attacking my other half!" Laksurya shouted in pain.
Laksurya wanted to fly out of the club and look for the other half of her body but Joy blocked her way out. "AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING LAKSURYA!?" Joy said.
"OUT OF MY WAY!!!" Laksurya attacked Joy with her long sharp claws but Joy dodged it then she hold Laksurya's arm and smash her on the floor. *SMASH!!!* She did it again and again before Joy throws Laksurya through the wall and went into the woods where some trees fell down after Laksurya hit them.
"HOW DARE YOU!!! I will pierce your body and get your heart then I'll eat it! Wahaha!" Laksurya was so angry at Joy and flew to attack her as fast as she could, but as soon Laksurya came close, Joy gave her the strongest punch that made her fly away out of their site.


"You hit a home run, Ate Joy! THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" Ian said.
Ian, Sarah, and Roe appeared from the portal.
"What happened to Laksurya's legs?" Joy asked Ian.
"It just disappeared after a thick black cloud enveloped it." Ian replied.
"Peach are you alright?" Sarah asked Peach when she saw her trying to get up.
"I – I'm fine Ate Sarah. Thanks." Peach said.
"I want to thank you for helping my sister." Joy offered the Masked Boy a hand so he could get up.
"N – No problem. It's my mission…" the Masked Boy replied with a deeper voice.
"YOU ARE SO GREAT JOY! How did you know Laksurya's weakness??" Roe asked Joy excitedly.
"A P – Pixie!?"  the Masked Boy was surprised to see a pixie in front of him.
"Not just a pixie! I am a Royal Pixie!" Roe proudly said.
"She is helping us to find the Elemental Talismans and become the Guardians." Joy added.
Then she noticed that there was some blood that is dripping from his left arm.
Joy felt worried to the Masked Boy so she tried to touch his arm the Masked Boy stopped her.
"Don't worry about it… Since you have proven to me that you are worthy to be a Guardian, I think this should belong to you." The Masked Boy said to Joy while getting something in his pocket and hand it to Joy. When Joy opens her hand she saw a familiar necklace.
"That's! That is our father's necklace!!!" Sarah said while Joy is speechless.
He was about to leave when Joy came back to her senses.
"WAIT!!... Who - Who are you? Why do you have my necklace??" Joy asked.
"I can't answer your question... Bye." That's all he said when the Masked Boy left them.
