Chapter 6: GREATEST GUARDIAN

"Thank goodness you're all safe! Where's Ian?" Their mother Mina quickly went back to the house after she saw that beam of light.
"Princess Hannah! You are alive!!! I MISS YOU SO MUCH!" Roe suddenly appeared and hugged Mina.
"Roe? But how did you get out of the book?" Mina asked.
"Ian released her." Joy answered. "Ian?" Mina was shocked. Then Mina saw Ian coming down the stairs but he looks pissed off and can't even look at her mother.
"Mama, please tell us everything!?" Sarah pleaded.

"I'm sorry if I hide so many things about your past, especially to Ian. I asked your sisters to not tell you about your true identity, about you being a half-fairy." Mina apologized. Mina holds Ian's hand.
I'm so sorry Ian." Mina apologized while her tears are falling.
"I did it to protect you and your sisters, I seal your powers even before we knew what it should be so you and your sisters could live here normally," Mina explained.



Then she started telling some information about their father and the Elementalia world...
"You see, your father was once the greatest Elemental Guardian. We met him while he was just starting his quest on collecting all the Magical Amulets in Elementalia." Mina. She opened the Libreta where it showed an illustration that looks like a map.
"This is Elementalia, a world in a different dimension. All mythical creatures that you know and you do not know lives in here." Then she flipped the book to a different page that shows mysterious symbols.
"I remember those symbols! They are the symbols of each element that a Magical Amulet also called Agimat have." Joy said.
"Your right Joy. These amulets are called 'Mga Agimat ng Elementalia' because they are hidden in different locations in Elementalia, guarded by different powerful creatures. It has a great power that allows its owner to control an element. These amulets also shapeshift as weapons base on its owner's capabilities. Only humans and Engkantao or half-humans half-engkanto are able to use it." Mina explained.
"If the owner of an Agimat has died this amulet returns to Elementalia except for the amulet of light. This Amulet of Light returns in Elementalia if and only if the Diwata or Fairy that gave it to the human dies. That is why this is the only amulet that can be passed down through generations." Roe added.

"If our father is the Greatest Guardian, he should've defeated those powerful creatures!?" Peach asked.
"Yes, your right! He is strong, smart, and especially a very kind person!" Roe said.
"Roe and I accompanied your father, and Roe serves as our guide." Mina.
"Of course! Because I'm your mother's sidekick pixie and even though she is a 'Princess of Elementalia' she doesn't really know every location in our world!" Roe.
"SHE IS A PRINCESS??" They said at the same time.
"Not just a princess! She is the Crowned Princess, the next Queen of Elementalia. Well if she didn't run away on her coronation day!" Roe explained.
"Let's not talk about it, Roe!" Mina ordered.
"Sorry Pri... I mean Mina." Roe obeyed.
"After your father collected six Agimat's he returned to this world and I followed him." Mina continues. "While I'm pregnant from the three of you, more and more evil creatures are attacking our village. Either they want to capture me and return to Elementalia or they want to kill your father for bringing me in this world." Mina said.
"But your father defeated them all!" Roe added. Then she remembered that day...


"But that day... 3 days after your mother gave birth to Ian, many evil creatures attacked the village at once. They caused the very first eruption of Mt. Tataalwan and all the villagers needed to escape. Your father asked me to protect the Libreta and find you all, then he goes and fights the leader of the evil creatures." Roe.
"What happened after the battle? What happened to our father??" Sarah asked.
"I - I don't know..... The whole village was on fire and I can't find all of you, then there's a big explosion so I used all my powers and protected the Libreta but I became trapped inside the book for how many centuries!" Roe explained.

"But how did you get in this era? Humans can't last more than 200 years even if you are a half-fairy!?" Roe asked.
"I used the forbidden spell of time traveling." Mina answered.
"WHAT?? But that will consume half of your life energy and your powers will gradually be drained." Roe said to Mina.
"I had to do it! To save my children." Mina replied.
The siblings did not notice that they were crying while listening. Then they all hugged their mother so tightly. Roe joins them and hugged Ian's face instead.


Time passes so quickly, they didn't notice it's already morning.
Mina asked them not to go to school, but they still insisted because they don't want to be absent just because of staying up too late.
Aside from being sleepy they just spend the day normally and by being aware that their powers are back, they became more careful not to use it accidentally. But the effect of the sealing ritual is still lingering to them. Their appearances are still the same, even though their powers are back aside for Ian that still doesn't know his own power.
"When will I have my own power! I had suffered a lot for not having my own shadow. It's so frustrating!" Ian said to himself while walking.
"Don't be like that! You will get your powers soon!" Suddenly, Roe appeared in front of Ian.
"Hey! What are you doing here? Hide! Hide in my bag!!!" Ian was panicking that people might notice Roe.
"Hahaha! Don't worry! Humans without opened third eye can't see me!" Roe said.
Roe sometimes annoys Ian because of her curiosity of everything around her. Since she was now free and in the modern era which was really different from the era where she came from.
From that day, Roe follows Ian wherever he goes.
