Chapter 12: LAKSURYA
The next day after school...
Khay was at the mall because his Mom told him to buy office supplies and some groceries.
"Looking at this list is making me hungry!..." Khay said to himself.
When he went to the food court he saw Peach sitting on a bench with a sad face.
"Hey Peach! What are you doing here?" Khay asked although he already knew the answer.
"I'm waiting for Vince... He asked me out for a movie date but before we buy tickets he said he will just go at the CR first...." Peach said.
Then she looks at the time on her phone.
"But he was gone for more than 20 minutes and he doesn't come back yet." Peach added.
"Let me check on him at the CR." Khay said. When Khay went inside the men's CR it was empty. So they look at some places of the mall that Vince might go but they did not found him.
"Where is he??" Peach is really worried about Vince.
"Let's look at the parking lot if Vince's car is still there." Khay said.
They saw Vince's car is still at the parking lot and Vince is also there with a sexy girl wearing a tube top and miniskirt. Suddenly they hugged and kissed each other. As soon as they saw that, Peach suddenly disappeared at Khay's side.
"VINCE!!!" Peach shouted to Vince. *PAAAAAK* Peach  slapped Vince on his face.
"THAT IS FOR CHEATING ME!" Then she gives him another slap *PAAAAAAK*
"AND THAT IS MY GOODBYE!!! Peach said, then she drags Khay back inside the mall.
" H - Heeey Peach! My hand, you are hurting me!" Khay complains.
"Buy some popcorns and drinks! Meet me at the cinema." Peach commanded him.
Khay did what Peach said and he found her at the far end of the cinema just watching.
"You can always cry on my shoulders, you know!? Just like when we were little..." Khay said while giving Peach the popcorn and drink.
Khay remembered the days after they first met each other.
"You always act bravely in front of other people, especially to your siblings... But deep inside you're a cry baby!" Khay said then Peach look at him fiercely while controlling her tears so it won't fall. "Haha! You always cry at me because I always find you wherever you hide!" He added
Then Peach started to cry, while Khay pats her back.
"W - why should I be crying for him? He - he's not worth it!!" Peach cried.
"Vince has never been a boyfriend to me! I never feel that I'm his priority, he only treats me like a - like a DISPLAY GIRLFRIEND!" Peach cried harder.
Luckily the movie is a drama that's why some people are also crying too while watching.
"There! There!... Cry as hard as you want! But after this, you will prove to Vince that he  is a big Loser!!" Khay hugged Peach to make her feel lighter.
They didn't finish the movie caused Peach wanted to go home, so Khay offered her a ride on his motorbike. They got home safely, but it seems that Khay will be in trouble.
"Khay... Are you ready to explain, young man?" Yuriko said to his son with a terrifying look on her face while holding a knife and some blood splatter on her apron.
"I - I can explain M - Mom! Please li - listen to me!" Khay cried.


At Peach's house...

When Peach got home she heads straight in her room and laid down the bed, after a few minutes she heard her sister Sarah calling her.
"PEACH! COME HERE QUICK!! VINCE IS ON THE NEWS!" Sarah shouted.
Then Peach quickly go to the living room and on the TV she saw CCTV footage from the mall parking lot. The footage is a little blurry but you can still recognize Vince and the girl while kissing. But the girl's appearance is a bit different because her hair is moving like snakes.
"WHAT THE!... They still continue....." Peach's dialogue was cut when Roe suddenly goes in front of the TV.
"WAIT! I think that is..."
"SHE IS LAKSURYA! ONE OF THE DEADLY SINS!!!" Roe said. They are shocked.
"According to the police, this young man was the fifth victim today. The other victims were found in different motels around the city almost dead, looking like very old with crooked skin and lots of snake bites all over their body." The reporter said on the TV. Peach run out of the house after hearing that.
"I WILL MAKE HER PAY FOR WHAT SHE DID TO VINCE!" Peach said to herself.
"Peach wait! You shouldn't fight her alone!!!" Sarah shouted to Peach but she's gone.
"Where is that BITCH!! I need to stop her before she will have a new victim!" Peach search all around the city but she didn't find Laksurya.
Meanwhile, at the house, Joy came after Sarah's call and told her that Peach is missing.
"What kind of creature Laksurya is?" Joy asked Roe.
"Laksurya is like the mother of all manananggal and she is a lot stronger when her body is not connected to each other..." Roe explained.
"She lures her victims with her beautiful appearance then feed with their life energy." She added.
"So if she is like a manalnanggal then we need to find her bottom part first!... Let's split up! I will find Peach then Sarah, Ian, and Roe you find the bottom part of Laksurya." Joy said before they started searching.
It's getting too late but Peach is not getting tired of searching every corner until she passed by a club. She tried to enter but the guard stopped her cause she is still a minor.
Then she just goes around the corner and there she saw a couple kissing at the dark but suddenly the girl grew wings at her back, her hair turned to snakes while her bottom part is getting away.
"You will be my dinner tonight! Wahaha!" Laksurya laughed.
"WAAAH! MANANANGAGAL!!! SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP ME!!!" The man shouted while Laksurya was about to bite him.
