A knight was driving the carriage where Alexandria and the egg was the middle of two knights on horses and one at the back carrying the captain's burial

Ryu tailed the group. He kept his distance to not be seen from afar. Ryu was fascinated about the views because he hsvent actually left the village

The knights got into the mountain range by the forest. Ryu sneaked into the forest with his kerchief tentacles.

The knights stopped into an unknown checkpoint. The injured knight stepped down to the man in armour. When the knight got close to identify themselves, he got stabbed at the neck. The knights charged forward pass the checkpoint. Tailing them from the bushes are horses. 

Ryu stabbed the last rider with a tentacle. And rode the horse.

Spells were thrown to the knights. They got into the cliffside when a sniper shot the knight at the back and the one driving the carriage. The carriage sided and Alexandria tug the egg in.

The bounty hunters are closing in.

Alexandria got out with the egg. He got surrounded by the bounty hunters. A scream came from the top of the cliff was heard. Someone was thrown down off the cliff close to the men.

They saw the body and it was their long range mage. Above came down another, a man with wings glided and tentacles draw down to the men. Pierced to death.

Ryu finished the remaining bounty hunters.

Alexandria recognized Ryu and holding down her egg and the sword.

"I don't plan on hurting you. I just want the egg", I was tasked to rake care of it, Ryu said draeing his tentacles and wings into a kerchief at his right arm.

Staring at each other. Alexandria said that Ryu is not the type of person to kill his ally. The results are just too clear about the people at the scene. She believed that it can be connected to the one who solidify the body of the priest.

She suspects that there was a leech to the one who got the report of having an egg. Paying bounty hunters to kill me and the knights back to the kingdom.

She gave the egg to Ryu and said that she will be heading to the town near this area. Ryu stepped in.

"It is better to drop the armour and the carriage. There might be more bounty hunters at the town if the plan here does not go well", Ryu said

"So what do you suggest?", Alexandria added.

At the town of Berus, Ryu and Alexandria got on one horse and went into an inn.

"We are a runaway couple and planning to stay the night pls. Ryu said.

"Ah youth", the old lady at the counter said with pure joy at her aura.

Alexandria angrily smiled while stepping on Ryu's foot until they got their keys. The lady asked what kind of room. Ryu said a single bed when suddenly stepped in and said to have a double bed.

When the lady looked at Ryu, he explained they are fighting at the moment and gave the payment for the double bed.

They got into their room. Alexandria got to the bath first. When she got out, there were a change of clothes. Ryu told her that the old lady cane over and gave us spare clothed and wished me good luck. She accepted and it was Ryu's turn, he washed the egg afterwards. They requested the food to be delivered Alexandria paid for them. And they head to bed.

In the morning, the egg was opened. The cute silver lizard came out "ra". Alexandria was romanticized by the cuteness and insisted to give it a name. Ryu thought of Pen from story of a king naming his dragon Pendragon.

The next day the old lady wished them goodbye and Alexandria is still mad for Ryu's scheme. 

They travelled by horse and pen to run by following them on the trail. 

Pen is like a small lizard shouting "ra" and cuddles to Ryu. Almost all the time, Pen is at Ryu's shoulder looking at the vast scene. Ryu is also fascinated and Alexandria is getting the same vibe from the two.

They got to the outer walls of the kingdom. They waited for the line and Pen hide under Ryu's robe wearing a mask. When the guard recognized the vice commander, they immediately saluted her and escort them to the palace at the center of the kingdom.
