Story is set in Nueva Imperia, the capital of Novaraya (New Imagiantion as Magalhanes the Iberian explorer dubbed). Maxx, one of our POVs, descends from the Madrid-Libertad family. Prominent names in Capital Fort —the centermost seat in the region which saw a slew of succession wars. The seat is currently governed by a Corregidora, Maxx's Iberian grandmother and after a massacre 3 months before, decided to strengthen the security of the fort by keeping all the Guardia Sentral inside the walls.
