Lance


I don't like gatherings, the same old gatherings... I hate being swarmed by people, I don't know what to say at all. Don't get me wrong, i like to keep my thoughts to myself alone unless I needed to share it.

Oh wait I almost forgot, I am Lance Rahvindra Licht Sethia a prince.

Wait that sounds awkward, why I'm even talking to my subconscious. Ugh-

"Lance , smile! That's part of your etiquette!" And there's my cousin Ace approaching towards me all dressed so royalty.

"Etiquette? Sorry but I'm already tired with those stupid etiquette. Smiling will just make my cheeks hurt" i Muttered, it's true that smiling hurts my cheeks.

"Ow!" I accidentally yelp as Ace forced my mouth to form a big smile, THIS GUY!

"Oh? What is that 'ow'? You're so sensitive Lancy" He teased. Is he trying to annoy me?

"No im not" I glared at him "and did you just call me Lancy?" Ace immediately shook his head but he was grinning.

"Nope, i didn't... Lancy-"

Alright, he will now face my wrath... "Ace, how about you stop teasing me and let's eat on the corner" I said as i pointed on the lone table. Ace then looked at me with a weird look.

"Didn't know you are a introvert Lance"

I just ignored his comment as we sat down, ace did the same and this time he was quiet. What now? Change of mood all a sudden?

"Hey lance, once you awaken what Will you do first?" He asked me. Ah... The 'awakening'
I don't know actually, i might just ask him for ideas.

" I... Actually don't know ace, I don't really look forward for the day to come. But I want to asked you ace, what did you do on your awakening? ". I asked, Just a lil reference wouldn't be bad

Ace starts to dig through the deep pile of the past and came up with an answer. "roasting Marshmallows... "

That was Ace's answer. Roasting marshmallows? Then suddenly ace laughed

" HAHAHA of course that's the second thing I wanted to do or rather, i did. Well the first Thing that I did after my awakening was flying. Though everyone was panicking during that. Heh so what, i was already 18 that time so they don't have to worry " Ace crossed his arms while muttering the past, wow he was still bitter of how an 18 years old is still treated like a child.

Now to think about the awakening... I might as well try to fly.

Awakening is a part of the growth of someone who has dragon blood, that includes me. If a stranger who doesn't know me will mistaken me as a normal human being, because as a half human half dragon blends well with human society.

Speaking of awakening again, it was like start of puberty for dragons. I'm not looking forward to it because I will have a Hard time to adjust in all of things . Growing horns, wings and don't freaking start with me about the tail... But looking at Ace who looks completely like human aside from his dragon eyes and pointy ears, there is a way change back to human looking self.

" Don't stress it out Lance" ace whispered to my ear.

"Im not stressing it out Ace, Just thinking of the possibilities along the way" i muttered

"Same thing to me, lets just enjoy the food princy lancy" ace said and chuckles and i sighed as ace's weird nicknames are back.

Father, Just take my title away for now..
