All I ever wanted was to know the reason of my existence.

The last thing I knew I was sitting on a cold carpeted floor inside a vast room with my eyes blindfolded shut— in torment while hearing the crowds' echoing noises and few applause after the judge's gavel hit the wooden circle.   "Next bidding will start once the auctioneer anounce the selling prize..." With only a mere second, everyone inside the room remained still and quiet. I felt a tight grip on my arm which forced me to stand up as it removed my blindfold forcefully, making me flinch.   I never knew I could see over a hundred people in one huge theatre grounds in my entire life.  My legs wobbled in fear. People who were wearing tuxedos, fancy dresses and are holding some sort of plastic circles with numbers on it were all looking directly at me.   Being the center of attention is what I fear the most. People are looking at me as if I killed someone— some are smirking as if they want me to get dismembered.   "Anonymous 0013, A million dollar." Said the man who's with me on the stage, holding a gavel. Men on their late 50's lifted numbers I could never understand.   "3 Million. We got 7 million over there. 15 million..."   The number keeps on increasing— and I— a mere 18 year old girl, kept on clutching the white hospital dress I am wearing. Barefooted and helpless infront of these sovereigns. "24 million! Any higher bid?"   Silence once again ruled the room. Almost Everyone were setting their numbers aside and the man on his 60's, the one who's willing to pay a gold shackle, was smirking directly at me.
"No one? Well the—" "30 million.."
Said a feminine voice which was no where to be found among the crowds but on the left side Grand Circle. With a fur coat covering half of her face, the only thing I could see was her cold stare straight right at me. Wearing a fancy dress with a small telescope, the woman crossed her legs, repeating her words.
"Take for 30 million."
I wasn't so sure enough about my future. I do not know if living alone would do me no harm, or will bring me into chaos.   And to come up with a conclusion, seing the woman's stare and basing on the situation, The second option is how my future looks like.
"30 Million it is then!"
The auctioneer was about to hit the mallet when a loud bang from the right grand circle was heard which startled the crowd. "Sorry I'm late.." He stated "I hope no one reached a hundred million dollars, if that's the case then name your price, I'll claim the item."
